ALCONA COUNTY — Get ready to “Unearth a Story” during this year’s Summer Reading Program for all ages at the Alcona County Library! Summer Reading begins on June 22, at all library branches. Stop in at your local branch to sign up, read throughout the summer, and enter for chances to win prizes.

We’ll kick things off with Dinosaurs & Reptiles on Thursday, June 25. The first hands-on, live animal program will be held at the Harrisville Branch at 11 a.m., followed by a second program at the Glennie Branch at 2 p.m.. The Dinosaurs & Reptiles events are brought to you by the Friends of the Alcona County Library and the Friends of the Curtis Township Library.
