ALPENA TOWNSHIP — A three-car crash forced traffic down to one lane on U.S.-23 South, near Partridge Point Road, this afternoon.

A mother and her child were treated at the scene. It wasn’t clear if there were any other injuries.

Alpena Township Fire Department, Alpena County Sheriff’s Department and Michigan State Police were on scene.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
