One more Alpena County resident infected

ALPENA — One new case of coronavirus infection was reported in an Alpena County resident today, according to local health officials, bringing to 106 the number of county residents infected since mid-March.

No new recoveries or deaths were reported in Northeast Michigan.

Statewide, 62,306 positive tests results have been reported, along with 5,887 deaths.

Today’s Alpena-area numbers:

Positive tests: Alpena County residents, 106; Alcona County residents, 18; Presque Isle County residents, 12; Montmorency County residents, five.

Recoveries: Alpena County residents, 83; Alcona County residents, five; Presque Isle County residents, 11; Montmorency County residents, five.

Deaths: Alpena County residents, 12; Alcona County residents, one.

MediLodge of Alpena residents testing positive: 61, staff: 31, deaths: 9

MediLodge of Rogers City residents testing positive: 1, staff: 1
