BREAKING: Schools closed for rest of school year
ALPENA — All K-12 school buildings will be closed for the remainder of the school year, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced today after signing Executive Order 2020-35.
Schools will remain closed unless restrictions are lifted. The order ensures students will continue learning through remote learning.
District facilities can be used by public school employees and contractors to facilitate learning at a distance while also practicing social distancing.
