Biden wins Northeast Michigan
Joe Biden handiliy won the support of Democratic primary voters in Northeast Michigan on Tuesday, according to unofficial results.
Across Alpena, Presque Isle, Montmorency, and Alcona counties, Biden won a combined 63% of the vote. Bernie Sanders, his lone remaining contender for the nomination, had 29%, with 52 of 54 precincts across the region reporting.
Biden won in all four Northeast Michigan counties.
President Donald Trump, who faced nothing but token contenders in the Republican primary, also was supported by Northeast Michigan voters.
