Several students stop for a smile before dinner during Group Camp 2019 at the Ocqueoc Outdoor Center at the end of September. Themed “Joy:Fully His in Nature,” the camp brought together about 50 students between St. John Lutheran School ,Rogers City and Immanuel Lutheran in Alpena for three days of nature hikes with Magnus Wilson, Boy Scout leader, lessons on how to identify trees from Dale Parris, of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and lessons on everything from poetry in nature, community building, technology and more.
