An Alpena man already incarcerated for alleged criminal sexual misconduct will face additional charges after the conclusion of a Michigan State Police investigation and review from the Alpena County prosecutor.

In a press release Friday, MSP announced Damian Barton is charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of children-accosting for immoral purposes. He admitted to investigators that he had inappropriate contact with two minor victims.

At the time the charges were filed, Barton was already lodged in the Alpena County Jail and awaiting trial for criminal sexual conduct and bestiality.
