ALPENA — Beginning today, residents and commuters in Alpena are advised that contractors for DTE will be performing repair work on the natural gas distribution system on Ripley Blvd.

Work Details:

• Location: On Ripley Blvd at the 3rd Avenue Intersection on the northeast corner

• Schedule: The project is scheduled to last approximately 2-3 days, weather permitting. Crews will work during standard daytime hours.

• Traffic Impact: While there is no full road closure planned at this time, lane shifts and temporary single-lane traffic may be necessary to ensure crew and public safety around the work zones. Traffic patterns on 3rd Avenue may be interrupted during this project.

• Travel Advice: Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek an alternate

route during this period to avoid congestion.

Key Information for Residents: You can expect normal, uninterrupted gas service to your

homes throughout the project duration. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during these infrastructure repairs.
