Stephanie Suszek
ALPENA — Young Appliance Co., Inc. is excited to announce the newest addition to its administrative team, Stephanie Suszek, as the company’s controller. Suszek brings with her an impressive wealth of expertise, built over 19 years in accounting, including 14 years in public accounting and five years as a controller. Her depth of knowledge in accounting, tax, and overall business practices makes her a tremendous asset to the company’s leadership, a press release from Young Appliance stated.
Suszek is training under current Business Manager Mary Young, who is winding down her remarkable 53-year tenure in the family business. Young has been a cornerstone of Young Appliance Co., Inc., and her guidance will help ensure a seamless transition as Suszek steps into her new role.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie to our team,” Robert Young, president of Young Appliance Co., Inc., said in the release. “Her passion, professionalism, and financial acumen align perfectly with our values, and we look forward to the impact she’ll make as we move into the next chapter of growth. We’re also deeply thankful for Mary’s decades of service and the legacy she leaves behind.”
Outside of work, Suszek is a proud Alpena local who stays closely connected to her community. She shares life with her husband, Tyler Suszek, a dedicated captain with the Alpena Fire Department, and their two daughters, Harper and Hadleigh, who keep them busy and smiling. Suszek lends her time and talents as treasurer of the Besser Elementary Parent Advisory Council and enjoys being part of the Sunday School team at Grace Lutheran Church.
Suszek’s appointment as Controller reflects Young Appliance Co., Inc.’s continued commitment to excellence, community engagement, and forward-looking leadership.
