ALPENA — Prentiss Street, between State Avenue and Harbor Drive, will be closed to all traffic from 8:30 a.m. today until 7 p.m. Sunday, the City of Alpena announced Thursday in a press release.

This closure is to allow for Art on the Bay to set up and tear down their event, as well as safety for pedestrians and vendors during the event. The Yacht Club/Kiwanis Kiddie Park parking lot will remain open and can be accessed from Harbor Drive.

For individuals that would like to purchase tickets to tonight’s Big Tent show at the Michigan Brown Trout Festival, there will be two 20-minute reserved parking stalls on Harbor Drive to access the WATZ office. Signage and barricades will be present to guide traffic around the area.
