ALPENA — The City of Alpena announced today that North Second Avenue between River Street and Carter Street will be closed to all traffic between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday. This closure is to facilitate work being done by a private business, according to a press release from the city.

Work on this project is expected to last one day. Signage and barricades will be present to guide traffic around the area.
