As of 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the recreational gas pump at the Alpena Marina is in proper working condition, according to a press release from the City of Alpena. After extensive testing and diagnoses, the Class B Operator responsible for maintaining the Alpena Marina Fuel System replaced wiring and faulty capacitors on both the Recreational Gas and Diesel tank sumps. Both pumps are now operational and pumping 8 to 10 gallons per minute. The city thanks patrons for their patience and understanding.
