Kowalewsky-McCoy exchange vows

Jordan and Sarah McCoy

Sarah Lynn Kowalewsky and Jordan Tyler McCoy were united in marriage on October 3, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena, Michigan. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jim Erickson. The bride is the daughter of Tom and Michelle Kowalewsky of Alpena. The groom is the son of Tim McCoy of Oscoda and the late Sheryl McCoy of Black River. The groom is the grandson of Bill and Gloria McCoy of Black River.

Courtney Smith, best friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill McCoy, sister-in-law of the groom, Alisha Bouchard, sister of the bride, Darcie Long and Ellie Badgero, cousins of the bride, Layla Carriveau, friend of the bride, and Marisa Royer and Sydney Andrulis, cousins of the groom. Conner and Chris McCoy, brothers of the groom, were the best men. Groomsmen were Scott Badgero and Tait Ball, cousins of the bride, Nathan McCoy and Matthew Andrulis, cousins of the groom, Bill Cole, friend of the groom, and Logan Bouchard, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony immediate family gathered for a dinner at the VFW Hall in Alpena. The couple will renew their vows next year and have their originally planned reception at St. Anne’s Parish Hall in Alpena.

Sarah is employed by Alpena Public Schools as an instructional assistant. Jordan is employed by Kalitta Air as the head of the shipping department. The couple resides in Alpena.
