Pearson and Brown united in marriage

Jessica Pearson and Robert Brown were united in marriage on Sept. 14, 2019, at Jackson Street Chapel in Clare.

The 3 p.m. service was opened with “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee,” sung by the bride’s aunts Marian Grabow and Naomi Wegmeyer, uncle Kenneth Wegmeyer and grandfather Eldon Grabow. The Rev. James Erickson of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena performed the double-ring ceremony.

Kathryn Pearson served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caroline Cantu and Veronica Carey, friends of the bride.

Lowell S. Brown III, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Lowell S. Brown II, father of the groom, and Alex Cross, friend of the groom. Ushers were the bride’s uncles and godfathers, Edward Grabow and James Grabow.

A rehearsal dinner was served in the Jackson Street Chapel reception room.

The bride is the daughter of former Alpena residents Parry W. III and Nancy Pearson. Jessica is a graduate of Alpena Community College, attended Central Michigan University, and is employed by Marriott Courtyard in Mt. Pleasant.

The groom is the son of Lowell S. II and Cathleen Brown of Bay Port. Robert attended Delta College, Saginaw State University, and is employed at Isabella Community Credit Union.

Grandparents of the bride are Eldon and Carol Grabow and Beverly Pearson of Alpena.

The couple resides in Mt. Pleasant.
