Emily and Nicholas Brousseau

Michigan State University Horticulture Gardens was the setting for the wedding of Emily Lynn Frankman and Nicholas Allen Brousseau on Sept. 22, 2018.

Emily is the daughter of Elizabeth Falk and John and Kelli Frankman. Nicholas is the son of Thomas and Patricia Brousseau.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Rachel Skoumal. Bridesmaids were Shianna Falk, cousin of the bride, Stacy Brousseau, sister of the groom, and Raluca Bugescu, Amanda Koenig and Eva Weihl, friends of the bride. Abbie Frankman and Katie Frankman, sisters of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Geoff Brousseau. Groomsmen were Peter Frankman, brother of the bride, Kyle Dutcher, cousin of the groom, and Joe Bennett, Chris Finder and Charles Roltsch, friends of the groom.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at The Cadillac Room in Lansing.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago and her Ph.D. in biochemistry from MSU and is employed by the University of Michigan as a postdoctoral researcher. Nicholas earned his bachelor’s degree from MSU and is employed by the State Treasury Department as an analyst.

The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Italy following their wedding.
