Desiree Valdivia and Cory Krajniak exchanged their wedding vows July 30, 2016 at Bedrock Stables in Metamora Township. Pastor Daniel Cave officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Pam and Dennis Valdivia of Sterling Heights and Cheryl and Bill Gothro of Eastpointe. The groom is the son of Alan and Sally Krajniak of Alpena.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Kim Cesarz. Serving as flower girls were Hannah and Sophie Gable, nieces of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Charlie Gallagher. Serving as ring bearer was Brody Gable, nephew of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held in North Branch. The rehearsal dinner took place at Bedrock Stables.

Desiree is a 2002 graduate of Michigan State University and is employed at Turner Construction in Detroit. Cory is a 1999 graduate of Adrian College and is employed at Arlington Brick & Masonry of Detroit.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Alaska. They are residing in Casco, Mich., in a remodeled farm house and horse riding stables.
