Kathryn Jean Wenzel and Matthew Robert Adrian exchanged their wedding vows June 27, 2014, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Frankenmuth. The Rev. Robert Bryne officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Tim and Sue Wenzel of Frankenmuth. The groom is the son of Robert and Cheryl Adrian of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Molly Wenzel. Bridesmaids were Kelli Adrian, sister of the groom, and Elise Jarrard, Patty Scholz and Alyssa Koster, friends of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Todd Adrian. Groomsmen were Charlie Wenzel, brother of the bride, and Dan Casselman, Zane Stewart and Dean Caldwell, friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at Zehnders of Frankenmuth. A rehearsal dinner took place at Sullivan’s Black Forest, also in Frankenmuth.

Kathryn graduated from Ferris State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy. She is employed by Bronson Methodist Hospital in Grand Rapids as a pharmacist. Matthew also graduated from Ferris State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy. He is employed at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital as a pharmacist.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Hawaii. They are making their home in Grand Rapids.
