Megan Catherine Jackson and Bryan Lee Christensen exchanged their wedding vows June 22, 2013 at Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena. Pastor Wade Yocum officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Margie Jackson of Hubbard Lake. The groom is the son of Irving and Susanne Christensen of Posen.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Abbey Jackson. Bridesmaids were Brittni Ross, Megan Hardies, Janell Timm and Chelsie Hoeberling, friends of the bride. Attending the groom was best man Jon Hardies, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Jacob Christensen, brother of the groom; Adam Hardies, cousin of the groom; Nathan Torsch and Logan Beyer, friends of the groom. Ushers were Jeremy Jackson, brother of the bride; and Paul Perrin, cousin of the bride.

The reception was held in their honor at the Alpena Knights of Columbus Hall.

Megan is a 2009 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2013 graduate of Ferris State University. Bryan is a 2008 graduate of Alpena High School and served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a LAAD Gunner Sergeant. He is currently employed by Christensen Dairy Farms.

Following the wedding, the couple spent their honeymoon in Niagara Falls. They now reside in Posen.
