Julie Sena Sre and Michael Duane Zinke exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 24, 2013 in a 4:30 p.m. double-ring, outdoor ceremony at Victory Life Church in Hastings.

The bride is the daughter of Vieng and Kheng Sre of Sturgis. The groom is the son of Roland and Karen Zinke of Alpena.

Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the Ever After Banquet Hall in Hastings.

Julie attended nursing school at Southwestern Michigan College and is employed as an LPN at Battle Creek VA Hospital. Michael attended Northwood University and Kellogg Community College. He is employed by Trilogy Health as a PTA.

The couple took honeymoon trips to Florida and Niagara Falls.
