Skiba/Hanson

Leslie Ann Skiba and Brian David Hanson exchanged their wedding vows June 8, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Gerald Okoli officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Luann Skiba of Alpena. The groom is the son of Dick and Lori Hanson of Rogers City.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Stacy Kranzo. Bridesmaids were Tracy Romel, Jackie Krawczak, Natalie Woolman, Jennifer Rosenbrock, all friends of the bride, and Megan Przybyla and Lauren Hanson, sisters of the groom. The flower girl was Bridgette Andrzejewski, cousin of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother-in-law, AJ Przybyla. Groomsmen were John Gordon, friend of the groom, Tyler Szumila, brother of the groom, Mickey Marx and Tyler Hilla, friends of the groom, and Ben Skiba and Brad Skiba, brothers of the bride. Serving as ushers were Jonathan Brege and Daniel Larson, friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the newlyweds at St. Anne’s Parish Hall.

Leslie received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy Degree from Saginaw Valley State University in 2006. She is employed by Alpena Regional Medical Center. Brian received his Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation Degree from Grand Valley State University in 2008. He is employed by Tendercare Alpena.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. They are residing in Alpena.
