Reisner/Speer

Sarah Reisner and Andrew Speer exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 7, 2013, at the Grand Lake Community Chapel in Presque Isle. Pastor Matthew Leavesley officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Sharon Reisner of Presque Isle. The groom is the son of Bill and Diane Speer of Alpena.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Stephanie Mauch. Bridesmaids were Polina Gorodinsky, Katelyn Haskin and Breanne Vaclavik, friends of the bride, and Betsy Speer, sister-in-law of the groom. Flower girls were niece of the bride, Charlotte Mauch, and niece of the groom, Isabelle Speer.

Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Jeremy Speer. Groomsmen were Nick Story, Ryan Keen and Thomas Brindley, friends of the groom, and Scot Reisner and Shane Reisner, brothers of the bride. Serving as the usher was the bride’s brother-in-law, Edward Mauch. Ring bearer was the bride’s nephew, Evan Reisner.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in their honor at the APlex in Alpena. A rehearsal dinner was held at the Presque Isle Lodge.

Sarah is a 2006 graduate of Alpena High School and holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University. She is a human resources manager with ThreeBridge Solutions. Andrew is a 2005 graduate of Alpena High School and holds a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University. He is a consultant with CEB.

The couple spent their honeymoon in California. They are residing in Minneapolis, Minn.
