Alisa Boboltz and Jesse Fairbanks, both formerly of Alpena, exchanged their wedding vows during a private ceremony on June 8, 2013 at Council Crest Park in Portland, Ore. Nathan Miller, close friend and also formerly of Alpena, officiated the double-ring ceremony. Both sets of parents and one sibling from the bride and groom’s side, Ashley Wing and Nicholas Fairbanks, were present for the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jamie Boboltz of Alpena. The groom is the son of Randy and Louise Fairbanks.

A reception honoring the newly married couple was held at Art in the Loft of Alpena on Sept. 7, 2013.

Alisa is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2008 graduate of Michigan State University and a 2013 graduate of Portland Community College. She works as a fitness professional and freelance writer. Jesse is a 1999 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2006 graduate of Portland Community College and a 2010 graduate of Portland State University. He is also a fitness professional in Portland.

The couple will travel to Oahu and Kauai for their honeymoon in April 2014. They currently reside at 52 NE Sacramento Street, Apt. B, Portland, Ore., 97212.
