Taylor Nicole Kanarr and Michael Christian Oliver exchanged their wedding vows Dec. 22, 2012, at Word of Life Baptist Church. Pastor Wade Yocum officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Glen and Kimberly Kanarr of Alpena. The groom is the son of Michael and Cari Oliver of Herron, and Jim and Lori Miller of Alpena.

Bridesmaids were Kirsten Bohlen and Ellen Sork, friends of the bride; Alicia Oliver, Mikayla Oliver, Autumn Oliver and Morgan Oliver, sisters of the groom; and Rebekah DiMarzo, cousin of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was Micah Warzywak. Groomsmen were Jordan Kanarr, brother of the bride; Josh Nunneley, Luke Donald and Stephen Dorr, friends of the groom; Joseph DiMarzo, cousin of the bride; and Cahlen Brancheau, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall.

Taylor is a 2011 graduate of Alpena High School. She is currently enrolled at Liberty University and is employed at IHOP in Lynchburg, Va. Michael is a 2010 graduate of Alpena High School. He is currently employed at PetSmart in Lynchburg, Va.

The couple traveled to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon. They will be making their home in Alpena.
