Kids concert on Thursday
ALPENA — The Alpena City Band will be performing the annual children’s concert Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Bay View Park bandshell. There will be free ice cream for all in attendance.
VA resource fair in Alpena
ALPENA – The United States Department of Veterans Affairs Saginaw Healthcare System will host a veteran town hall and PACT Act resource fair for Veterans in the Alpena area today. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. at the VFW Post 2496. The event will help educate veterans about VA health care and benefits and assist with VA benefits enrollment. Euchre tournament in Hillman
HILLMAN - The Hillman Senior Center is hosting its monthly euchre tournament on July 25. It will be held at the Hillman Senior Center. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and play starts at 6 p.m. The payout is for first, second, and third place. All proceeds help with the senior center’s monthly expenses, upkeep, and utilities of the building.
