Busy month at the Alcona County Library
The Alcona County Library released its events for this month and it is going to be busy and there will be something for everyone to enjoy. All events listed take place at the Harrisville branch. OThe library’s only event this month with a cover charge is the Feb. 9 Make-it Monday craft, but all other events are free. Friends of Plaza Pool to host Euchre tournament
The Friends of Plaza Pool is hosting a Euchre tournament on Feb. 15 at the Alpena Eagles Club. Doors to the event open at noon and the card playing will begin at 1 pm. There is a $20 entry fee for each entry, plus a $1 entry for high game. There will also be a 50-50 drawing, door prizes, and food. Participants must be 18 years old or older to play. All of the proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Friends of Plaza Pool.
