SUNRISE SIDE BULLETIN BOARD

ACC Language Society offers global cuisine, music Saturday

The Language Society at Alpena Community College is hosting an event titled “A Touch of Cuisine and Music from around the World” from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Culligan Plaza in Alpena.

The event is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be postponed and moved to a later date.

While maintaining social distance, audience members will be treated to a slideshow of places, accompanied by popular music and classics, from around the world. Additionally, the group will be offering snacks from each country, including Ireland, France, Japan, Turkey, Mexico, and Germany. All food is individually wrapped to meet safety mandates.

At the event the group will also be accepting food donations for ACC’s Student Food Pantry. All donations are welcome and will be greatly appreciated by ACC students. So come and join us! Have a taste of snacks from around the world while you listen to the best music to come from around the world. For more information, contact Dr. Karol Walchak, advisor to The Language Society, at walchakk@alpenacc.edu.
