James and Dorrell Eller of 9774 Meggert Rd., Ossineke, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on May 12, 2013.

Mr. Eller and the former Dorrell Meggert were married May 12, 1973 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Herron. James is the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy Eller, Sr. Dorrell is the daughter of the late Walter and Vivian Meggert.

The couple have three children: Nikki Eller of Hazel Park, Nathan (Danielle) Eller of Commerce Township and Natalie (Steve) Truman of Alpena. They also have five grandchildren: Kaden and Lilyana Eller of Commerce Township and Jack, Trigg and Trapp Truman of Alpena.

James is retired from Wozniak Excavating and Dorrell is retired from District Health Dept. #4.
