ALPENA — The Thunder Bay Community Health Service Board of Directors is proud to announce the newest recipients of its Education Fund: Dana Arnold and Renee Roznowski.

Arnold, Director of Dental Operations at TBCHS, will use the award to participate in the Certified Dental Business Professional Program. This opportunity will enhance her leadership and operational expertise in managing TBCHS dental services across Atlanta and Onaway.

Roznowski, Revenue Cycle Manager, will apply her award toward completing the accelerated Bachelor of Business Administration program through the University of Michigan–Flint. Her studies will support the ongoing optimization of TBCHS revenue cycle operations.

“Both Arnold and Roznowski exemplify the TBCHS mission to care for the people of our communities, and do so with compassion, skill, and dedication,” a press release from TBCHS stated. “Their commitment to professional growth reflects the organization’s investment in cultivating a knowledgeable and community-focused workforce.”

In addition to the Continuing Education Fund, TBCHS offers apprenticeship programs for Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Dental Assistants, and Community Health Workers. These hands-on programs prepare the next generation of health care professionals to serve the communities of Northern Michigan.
