TBNMS Advisory Council meeeting Thursday

ALPENA — The Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center, 500 W. Fletcher St., Alpena. The public is invited to attend.

The agenda includes regular council business, an update from Office of National Marine Sanctuaries Director John Armor, a presentation by Don La Barre on the Gilchrist shipwreck, and updates from NOAA staff on Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary programs, connections to veterans, upcoming events, and research.

Public comment will be held at approximately 7:50 p.m.
