Hunter’s Spaghetti Dinner Nov. 16 at Spratt Church

LACHINE — A Hunter’s Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Spratt United Methodist Church.

This all-you-can-eat dinner will be $12 per person, ages 12 and older, and $6 per child ages 6 to 12. There will be two kinds of sauce, spaghetti pasta, garlic bread, desserts, and drinks.

This event is sponsored by the Spratt United Methodist Church Men’s Group. All are welcome to attend.

The church is located at 7440 M-65 South, Lachine.

Bridge results announced

ALPENA — Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results have been announced for this week.

Gordon Bennett and Marge French won first place, followed by Jackie Kennedy and Loretta Reynolds in second place, and Linda Ferguson and Eve Phillips in third place.

American Legion Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 23

ALPENA — American Legion Hall Post 65 will host a Thanksgiving Dinner starting at 4 p.m. at 1316 M-32 West, Alpena.

The menu includes turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn, cole slaw, rolls, butter, and assorted desserts.

The public is invited. The cost is by donation at the door.
