Hunter safety class Aug. 12-17

ALPENA — Hunter safety class will be offered Aug. 12-15 and range day on Aug. 17 at Alpena Sportsmen’s Club.

Pre-registration is required at michigan.storefront.kalkomey.com/em/programs. This is the DNR website for hunter safety. At the website, select “Hunter Safety Traditional Source,” then select “View,” then select “Register Now.”

On Aug. 12 through 15, class time is from 6 to 9 p.m. On Saturday, Aug. 17, range day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

AHS Class of 1953 to meet on Aug. 13

ALPENA — The Alpena High School Class of 1953’s August luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at the 19th Hole.
