Chet and Doris Donajkowski are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 12, 1954 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Alpena, later moving to St. Mary’s Parish, and settled down to raise their family in Maple Ridge, eventually purchasing the old Cathro Farm.

They will be celebrating with their family. Children: Joe (Charlotte Gauthier) Donajkowski, the late Sam (Mary) Donajkowski, Tom Donajkowski, Tim (Jackie) Donajkowski, Sandy (Mike) Holzman, and Rick (Donna Dove) Donajkowski. Grandchildren: Monica (Jim) Henski, Tom (Melissa Morgan) Bedient, Samara, Xavier (fiance Drew) and Tellis Donajkowski, Hannah and Lena Donajkowski, Clay, Colin and Lindsay Donajkowski, Ethan Holzman. Great-grandchildren: Jillian, Kaden, and Jacob.
