Alpena Duplicate Bridge results noted

ALPENA — Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club winners have been announced for this week.

Carolyn Belton and Loretta Reynolds came in first place, followed by Eve Phillips and Dale Middleditch in second, and Audrey Stevens and Linda Clegg in third.

The group meets at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays.

Build-a-Bouquet and craft event May 11

ALPENA — A Build-a-Bouquet flower, craft, and vendor event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 at the APlex, open to the public and hosted by 59 Acre Family Farm. Come browse a dozen vendors and find the perfect gift for Mom or the special woman in your life. Build a bouquet with fresh picked tulips and daffodil stems from a local flower farm.
