NEMAG ‘Reflections’ reception Saturday

ALPENA — The Northeast Michigan Artists’ Guild invites the community to a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday to see their annual “Reflections” exhibit at Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan.

Each piece displayed is an original work of art by a current NEMAG artist in their chosen medium, and may be a literal or figurative interpretation of the theme. Through this exhibit, the public is invited to “reflect” upon the many ways in which reflections can be represented in art, and to consider the role of reflections, both literal and figurative, in their daily lives.

The Northeast Michigan Artists’ Guild promotes and supports art and artists through inspiration, information and education in our community. NEMAG welcomes artists of all skill levels, and offers several opportunities to participate in local exhibitions and workshops throughout the year. For more information about NEMAG, please email northeastmichiganartistsguild@gmail.com or call Karen at 989-766-9945 or Ellen at 989-916-5997.

The meet-and-greet public reception is on the final day of their art exhibit, so come check it out while you still can.
