OSSINEKE — This year, the 3rd Annual Fall-O-Ween will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Dinosaur Gardens. Admission for children is free, and anyone over the age of 14, including adults, is $7 at the entrance.

Each year, families trick-or-treat through the prehistoric park located in Ossineke. It has become an event that the community looks forward to each year.

“We are so excited to gather with our community once again this year. This event is becoming more of a festival, as it develops more each year,” said Shannon Vivero of Vivero Industries, and marketing director of Dinosaur Gardens.

She may be referring to the petting zoo that will be at the event, or Kettle Nation becoming a vendor. You may have seen Kettle Nation at recent events, such as Concerts in the Park. This year, guests can vote on the best vendor booth/costumes. The winning vendor will receive four Tier 1 Dino Passes for the 2022 season.

There are many local businesses and organizations that make this event possible each year as vendors. Many volunteers and employees also participate in the event.

Each year the event is coordinated by Vivero and Nicole Godfrey.

“At our Fall-O-Ween event, we pride ourselves in making it a family-friendly experience for all ages,” Godfrey said. “We know how valuable those memories are to make. So much so, that this year we are providing specific locations for photo opportunities. We cannot wait to celebrate the end of our season with you and your families who make the restoration of this park possible.”
