Clays for a Cause Sat.
Clays for a Cause, sponsored by MidMichigan Health Foundation’s Development Council, will be held on Saturday at the Alpena Sportsmen’s Club, 4260 M-32, Alpena.
Registration is $70 and includes a full round of sporting clays, T-shirt, lunch and a chance to win a shotgun.

Norway Ridge work bee Saturday, Oct. 2
Thunder Bay Trails Association (TBTA) will hold its Annual Fall Work Bee at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at Norway Ridge trailhead.
Meet in the parking lot. Bring work gloves, metal rakes, loppers, leaf blowers.
Please dress for the weather. Help the TBTA maintain this much-used local trail.
TBTA is a nonprofit group that helps the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to maintain and improve this trail.
ARMC retirees luncheon Oct. 6
ARMC (Alpena Regional Medical Center) retirees will meet at a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6.
The luncheon will be held at Jimmy Chen’s Hunan Chinese Restaurant, at 1283 M-32 in Alpena.
GriefShare begins Sept. 30 at Immanuel
GriefShare begins Thursday, Sept. 30 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena.
This 13-week program will be held at 6 p.m. every Thursday. It is led with a God-centered approach. Brent Finzel is the facilitator.
