Carey May Udell wins Alexander Award

Courtesy Photo Alpena County 4-H announces Carey May Udell as the 2020 winner of the coveted Adeline Alexander Award. This award is given in memory of Adeline Alexander, established in 1982 upon her death, by her nine children to honor her long time advocacy of 4-H and the values that it instills in youth. This award recognizes participation and excellence in learning valuable life skills such as sewing, knitting, baking, canning, woodworking, etc. Mrs. Alexander believed in the value of 4-H and the motto, “To Make the Best Better.”
