Looking for a challenge as we head into the new year? The Alpena County Library’s Winter Reading Challenge started Tuesday and runs through Jan. 31, 2021.

To participate, pick up or print a bingo card. Complete reading categories to earn a diagonal, horizontal, or vertical bingo and be entered in a drawing to win a prize of downtown dollars. Return your completed card via the library mailbox at its temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza. This challenge is open to all ages.

Pick up a printed card from the library’s temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza or in downtown Alpena at Cabin Creek Coffee or Parallel 45 Books & Gifts. Participants are also welcome to view and print the three different challenge cards from the library’s website.
