On Aug. 22, the Alpena Longbeards and the Alpena Sportsmen’s Club hosted a kids’ day skeet shoot at the Sportsmen’s Club. Thirteen youngsters participated in shooting, with parents present. Lunch was served and all children drew tickets for prizes. Pictured at right are some of the youth who participated in the event.

The clubs are appreciative of Northern Guns N Ammo and Pepsi for their donations to the event.
