Classes are coming up Saturday at Art in the Loft, with masks required and social distancing being practiced at all times.

Three classes are set for this Saturday.

smART for kids

From 10 to 11 a.m., kids ages 5 and older are invited to join in the fun in this class designed to introduce students to the elements of art utilizing different mediums. Each session is sure to entertain and each student walks away with a completed work of art. The cost for this class is $15 per student.

Brushes & Basics for 17+

From noon to 1:30 p.m., beginning art students ages 17 and up are invited to learn together. Each session will cover basic skills and fun techniques utilizing a variety of mediums. The cost for this class is $15 per student.

Corkscrew & Canvas

for 21+

Adults 21 and older are welcome to attend this popular step-by-step painting class from 4 to 6 p.m. Get creative in an encouraging and relaxing atmosphere. All skill levels are welcome. The cost for this course is $35 per student.

Aug. 9

Creative Companions

Come and get creative together from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 9. Kiddos, bring your favorite adult and get creative in the kitchen and the classroom. Please only bring one child per adult to better ensure the experience. Children must be age 4 and up. The cost for this course is $35 per duo.

Urban Illustrating

Students ages 15 and up are encouraged to learn to draw the urban landscape from 2 to 4 p.m. The $35 cost for this session includes a sketchbook.

Aug. 14
