The Great Quarantine Library Challenge starts today, online

The Alpena County Library is launching the Great Quarantine Library Challenge starting today, for community members to participate in during the COVID-19 social distancing and quarantine period.

Anyone can participate, whether or not they have a library card. Activities include reading, listening to podcasts, visiting a museum virtually, and more. Completing five or more of the challenges entitles participants to enter a prize drawing.

The challenge information can be found on the library’s website, Facebook, and Instagram. The challenge directions can be printed at home and completed. The library hopes to have paper copies of the challenge available for pickup beginning Tuesday. Participants are encouraged to share their adventures with the challenge with the hashtag #greatquarantinechallenge.

More information is on the library’s website, alpenalibrary.org, and Facebook page.
