The Northeast Michigan Genealogical Society regrets to announce the program “Digging in the Archives of Michigan,” scheduled for Saturday at the Alpena Family History Center has been canceled.

Beatles tribute canceled

True North Radio Network’s Beatles Tribute Band SHOUT concert that had been scheduled for Saturday at the APlex has been canceled.

Long Lake Improvement meeting scrapped

The Long Lake Improvement Association meeting that had been set for April 1 has been canceled.

Veteran coffee hour

canceled until future date

The Alpena County Veterans Coffee Hour has been canceled for the month of March. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) staff hosts the monthly event on the fourth Thursday of each month at 9 a.m. at the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center. The staff hopes the event will be back for April, but that decision will be made at a future date.

TBIPS meeting reset

The March 24 meeting for Thunder Bay Island Preservation Society has been rescheduled for April 28.

Casino trip rescheduled

The Relay For Life casino trip that had been set for May 2 has been rescheduled for Sept. 19. If you are signed up for the May 2 trip, you now have a seat reserved for the Sept. 19 bus trip. If that doesn’t work for you, please call Bonnie at 989-356-1861.
