ALPENA — Nineteen community members will be honored for sharing their fitness journey at Bay Athletic Club’s annual Fitness Inspired Gala on Saturday.

Inspirational stories range from a mom of two quitting smoking and getting fit to a man taking control of his stress with workouts to a father of three losing nearly 100 pounds and getting off medication and a CPAP machine. All of the stories are inspiring and have life-changing moments.

BAC will honor all of its members who shared their story in the “60 Second Inspiration” series that airs Monday nights during the WBKB-TV 6 p.m. news.

The event starts at 5:30pm on Saturday at The Fletcher Street Depot in downtown Alpena. At the end of the night the audience will vote to choose the most inspiring story of 2019 and the winner will receive a VIP pass to Bay Athletic Club, a $500 gift certificate.

The community is invited to get dressed up and come to this event. Attendees are likely to leave with a smile and overwhelming positivity. Tickets are $25 and can be reserved by calling 989-356-5600.
