Teen fun in Harrisville Thurs.

Thingiverse Thursday for Teens is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. this Thursday at the Alcona County Library in Harrisville. Teens can check out the new 3D printer and S.T.E.M. Ozobots. This project is funded with a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Call 989-724-6796 for more information.

Teen VR Spacewalk at ACL

A free Virtual Reality Spacewalk for ages 13 to 18 is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Alpena County Library.

Register for a 30-minute session to explore space in virtual reality. Teens will maneuver around space stations and complete tasks similar to those astronauts complet in space.

Ice cream social at Grace church

Grace Episcopal Church will host an ice cream social dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

The menu includes salads, baked beans, sandwiches, grilled hot dogs, homemade pies and ice cream. Cost is by donation. The church is located at 13488 Long Rapids Rd.

Bridge winners announced

Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club winners this week were Audrey Stevens and Linda Clegg in first, Beverley Rousseau and Marcy Sherman in second, and Deanna Brege and Gayle Nowak in third.

The group meets at 12:45 p.m. Mondays at First United Methodist Church on the corner of 1st Avenue and Ripley Boulevard. Call 989-595-5119.
