Randi and Marli Brown to lead NLCF Worship Fest Saturday
Gospel and Contemporary Worship Fest is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Charlie Lane’s Barn, 12837 Behning Rd. in Ossineke, with Randi and Marli Brown, hosted by New Life Christian Fellowship. This family-friendly event includes free beverages, chips and hot dogs.
A dynamic duo, the Browns delight and ignite audiences with their humor and passion. The evening will include a blend of classic hymns, old-time Gospel songs, and contemporary praise and worship songs interlaced with personal stories and humorous incidents from their lives.
Randy was trained in classical music and has a bachelor’s degree in piano performance and composition from Tyndale Bible College. His music includes classical, jazz, big band, boogie and swing.
Marli graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from William Tyndale Bible College. She is a gifted speaker and a dynamic storyteller, as well as an author and musician.
They spent the first eight years of marriage traveling, living in a motor home. This season in their lives inspired Marli’s book, “Ridin’ Shotgun.” In 2013 they bought a house in the Grand Rapids area that serves as a ministry home and office. They continue to travel the U.S., performing at churches and other venues.
