Jim and Jean Waeiss announce the engagement and wedding of James Waeiss to April DeRoque.

April DeRoque is the daughter of Lucien and Linda DeRoque of Rogers City and Linda Derry and Ed Sorget of Rogers City. April is a long-time resident and graduate of Rogers City. James moved to Lachine in 1998 and graduated from Alpena High School. They plan to reside in Lachine.

The wedding is scheduled for May 19, 2018 at Long Rapids Township Hall at 3:30 p.m. with a celebration and dinner at 5:30 p.m.
