Daniel Moffatt and Katelynn Joy have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Linda Joy of Alpena. Katelynn is a 2010 graduate of Alpena High School and is currently employed by the Northeast Michigan Behavioral Health Initiative in Alpena.

The future groom is the son of Kris and Nancy Moffatt of Tawas City. Daniel is a 2003 graduate from Tawas Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. earning his bachelor of arts degree with honors. He is currently employed as program coordinator for the Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative in Alpena.
