Amy Beaudoin and Brock DeCare, both of Traverse City, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Randy and Sandy Beaudoin of Ossineke. Her fiance is the son of Alger and Rondi DeCare of Herron.

Amy is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2007 graduate of Alpena Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and a 2011 graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She is employed at Munson Medical Center as a registered nurse.

Brock is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2005 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2009 graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Management. He is employed by Hagerty Insurance as a licensed sales agent.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows Jan. 25, 2014, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Ossineke.
