The recent article about the waste water plant spending $400,000 for odor control is rather comical. A few months ago in a meeting with the city council and mayor, they blamed septic trucks for the odors . They stopped receiving septic waste along with the revenue it generated, around $400,000 per year, then one week later raised everyone's sewer and water rates.
