Melissa Ann McHarg, 47, of Alpena passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Melissa was born Oct. 28, 1974, in Alpena to Rory and Barbara (Paad) McHarg. She served in the United States Army and later became a registered nurse. Surviving are her two children, Brett Souva, Jenna Souva; mother, Barbara (Rick) Mousseau; grandmother, Ila Mousseau; two brothers, Landon Laroche-McHarg, Caden Laroche-McHarg; sisters, Jamie Plush, Rebecca Plush-Tews; three stepbrothers, Rick Mousseau Jr, Eddie Mousseau, Bradley (Kimberly) Mousseau; several nieces and nephews. CARR, Emma Jo, 85, of Rogers City, died July 2, 2022 at MediLodge of Rogers City. Emma is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Bud) Smith; two granddaughters, Mandy (Andy) and Karen (Isaac); five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ricky (Doris) Sizemore and a sister-in-law, Sue Sizemore. Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday at the Rogers City Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until time of her funeral at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Rogers officiating. He is survived by his wife, Julie, two sons, Adam (Kimberly) and Caleb (Ashley), and four grandchildren, Holton, Haisley, Beckett, and Brooks. Family will receive friends for Visitation at Karpus Hunter & Ross Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 2 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7 p.m. with Fr. Tyler Bischoff as celebrant.

After a long life spent loving and living life to the fullest, Joanne L. Kowalski (Smith, Tacia) has made her heavenly journey home! She passed peacefully in Sacramento California where she had resided with her loving husband Julian Kowalski (1923-2019). Joanne was blessed with four children. David Smith, Brenda Reed, Julie Ruano (1960-2004) and Shari Tinnin. Joanne has 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother! Caroline Barbara Miller, 86, of Hillman, Michigan passed peacefully on June 8, 2022, at MediLodge of Hillman surrounded by her loving family. Caroline was born June 29, 1935, to the late Wilhelmina and John Hellner. She was blessed with 8 siblings. She grew up on a farm in Ann Arbor with many memories with family. She married G. Doug Miller on April 24, 1954, in Ann Arbor. Her family was her love in life. She was blessed with seven wonderful children.
